Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our packages and services.
What is the difference between the Foundation, Launch and Growth packages?
Foundation covers everything you need to prepare and submit a compliant CQC registration application. Launch adds branding, a professional website, marketing and enhanced wraparound support — including help with CQC/Ofsted feedback, requests for further information and application amendments. Growth builds on Launch with a 2-year financial viability forecast, three months of structured strategic support, and business development guidance for more complex or ambitious providers.
Are the policy suites full operational policy packs?
No. The policy suites included in these packages are registration application policy suites — the policies and procedures the regulator expects to see as part of your application. They are not full operational policy packs for the day-to-day running of an established service. If you need a complete operational policy library, we can provide one separately.
Do the Launch and Growth packages help with regulator feedback?
Yes. Launch includes support with CQC/Ofsted feedback, responding to requests for further information, and making application amendments, alongside ongoing consultant support throughout your registration journey. Growth adds priority review of regulatory feedback and stakeholder and commissioner engagement guidance.
What financial forecast is included in each package?
Foundation and Launch include a 1-year financial viability forecast. Growth includes a more detailed 2-year financial viability forecast to support longer-term planning and sustainability.
Can I spread the cost of a package?
Yes. All packages can be paid using our Team Care Staged Payment Plan (80% deposit / 20% on completion). Klarna and business finance options are also available, subject to approval and eligibility criteria.
Which regulators do you support?
We support registrations across CQC, Ofsted, Care Inspectorate Scotland and CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales), with dedicated specialists for each regulator alongside consultants experienced in domiciliary care, supported living, children's services, complex care and governance.
What if I need something that isn't included in my chosen package?
Each package includes a range of optional add-ons — such as our Accredited Interview Preparation Programme, Registered Manager mentoring, mock inspections, and business development consultancy — which can be added at any time. We can also create a custom quote for any additional support you need.
Are the prices shown inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all prices shown for our registration packages are inclusive of VAT.
How quickly can a Turnaround Manager start?
We understand the urgency of these situations. Depending on availability, a manager can typically be placed on-site within a few days to a week to provide immediate stability.
What is the difference between a Turnaround Manager and a consultant?
A consultant provides advice and guidance, whereas a Turnaround Manager provides hands-on, interim leadership. They become part of your operational team, making decisions and driving the implementation of the improvement plan directly.
Is the fixed weekly retainer more cost-effective?
For longer-term placements (4 weeks or more), the fixed weekly retainer is typically more cost-effective than the standard day rate. It provides budget certainty for a sustained period of support.
What happens after the placement ends?
The goal is to embed sustainable systems and mentor your existing team. Before the placement ends, the Turnaround Manager ensures a full handover to your permanent manager, leaving them with a clear roadmap to maintain compliance and continue improving.
What is the difference between a Governance Review and a Mock Inspection?
A Governance Review is a remote, desk-based assessment of your internal systems, audits, and oversight structures. A Mock Inspection simulates an on-site regulatory visit, including staff interviews, observation, and documentation sampling. Both produce written reports with prioritised actions.
Can your services be delivered remotely?
Yes. Many of our pathways — including Remote Targeted Support, the Compliance Health Check, Leadership QA Support, and the Pre-Inspection Intensive — are delivered entirely remotely via Teams or phone. On-site and hybrid delivery is available for mock inspections and governance intensives.
What does "from £1,250" mean for the Full Mock Inspection?
The price depends on service size and complexity. A single-site supported living service will typically be at the lower end, while larger residential or nursing homes may cost more. We provide a clear quote after an initial scoping discussion.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes, all prices shown for our inspection and governance pathways are inclusive of VAT.
Do you support services outside the East Midlands?
Yes. We support services nationwide. Remote pathways have no geographical limitation, and on-site visits are available across the UK for planned bookings. Travel or accommodation costs may apply and are quoted separately.
What information do I need to provide for you to write a tender?
You will need to provide the tender specification documents and information about your service's history, staffing, and key strengths. We will guide you through a structured process to gather all the necessary details.
Do you guarantee that a tender you write will be successful?
While we cannot guarantee the outcome of a competitive bidding process, we guarantee a professionally written, fully compliant, and compelling tender that gives you the strongest possible chance of success.
For the Lead Generation package, can I set a monthly budget for the hourly work?
Yes, absolutely. We work with you to set a monthly cap on the pay-as-you-go hours to ensure the service always stays within your budget.
What counts as a "converted lead"?
A converted lead is a successful outcome that we have directly sourced for you. This is typically defined as a signed service contract or an officially confirmed and funded placement. The fee is only payable after you have secured the work.
